Privacy Policy

OG Scheduler (“we”, “our”) is a small, private group scheduling tool operated by Alec. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect

  • Your name, as you provide it when you join the crew.
  • Your mobile phone number, provided when you give verbal consent to be added.
  • Your submitted availability (time slots) for each weekly poll.
  • Standard web analytics (page views, aggregated performance data) via Vercel.

How we use your information

  • To send you the weekly availability poll, a Tuesday reminder if you haven’t responded yet, the chosen-time announcement, and a pre-call reminder via SMS.
  • To calculate the best overlapping time for the group call.
  • To respond to HELP replies or support emails.

Service providers

We rely on the following third-party services to operate this app. Each receives only the data needed for its specific function, and none of them use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.

  • Vercel (United States) — hosts the website and runs the backend. May process names, phone numbers, IP addresses, and request metadata in transit and in short-lived runtime logs.
  • Neon (United States) — Postgres database where your name, phone number, consent records, and weekly availability are stored.
  • Twilio (United States) — sends SMS on our behalf. Receives your phone number and the body of each message.
  • Axiom (United States) — operational logging. Receives request metadata and structured event logs. Names may appear in routine entries; phone numbers may appear in delivery-failure entries so we can debug carrier rejections. Logs are retained for 30 days.
  • A bot-detection service operated by our hosting provider — runs on the admin login page. Receives browser metadata and IP address; does not receive your name or phone number.

SMS consent and data sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See “Service providers” above for the specific vendors who process this information.

We use Twilio as our SMS delivery provider. Your phone number and the content of program messages are transmitted to Twilio solely to deliver these messages. Twilio’s handling of that data is governed by Twilio’s own privacy policy.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out at any time.
  • Reply HELP or email us to ask a question or request deletion of your data.

Data retention

We retain your name, phone number, and availability history for as long as you are a member of the crew. If you opt out or ask to be removed, your record is deleted from our database.
